  1. Great information about how to build a website and free ways to do it.

There are a lot of great ways to get a website online. You just have to find the right option for you. It helps to have a community to work with you and help you through the process.

    1. That’s right Jessica. Thanks for leaving a comment.
Building a free website is best for beginners trying to test if a certain platform is best for them.

  2. Hi,

I often wondered the differences between some of the hosting companies. I was with GoDaddy, years ago when I did not have a clue at what I was doing, and bought one to see what could happen. I was not trained so it was more of a novelty experiement.

Soon as I missed my payment, my site was GONE! Not cool – and from experience with Wealthy Affiliate, they will give you a grace period of about 15 days to make payment. Only after this point you lose your Premium Access, but always easy to reinstate.

They will keep you website LIVE for 30 days as well – that is generous and I don’t know of anywhere else that will bend over backwards for you to keep you going online. They are legit and genuine, I am glad to say.

Thank you for the comparison for the hosting and WA is the best – no doubt about it.

    Regards,

    Philip.

    1. Hi Philip,
      Thanks for leaving a comment.
I also tried GoDaddy’s free trial. It’s a has a nice theme. It’s just that it seems like it is limited when it comes to other features unless I upgrade for the monthly subscription.
My site was shut down since I didn’t upgrade although the price is a bit affordable.

I checked on other website builders as well and they just have minor differences especially on templates and other features.

  3. I’ve tried using GoDaddy, Wix, and one you didn’t mention BlueHost (not sure if they offer any type of free-trial or not). I ended up not liking hosting with them. They were just so-so in my opinion. I’ll have to check out the link you provided to build a free website with the free training! I looked into it and it seems interesting! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Hi Jeremy. Thanks for the comment.

I was about to sign up for Bluehost but when I was on checkout, it’s asking me to pay for the yearly membership so I didn’t continue. The monthly payment until the yearly plan is $2.95. There’s no free trial.

The best platform I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate since they have free trial membership and the free website will not be shut down even after the 7 day free trial for training.

  4. Thanks for leaving such a detailed review. I’ve heard good things about Wix, I think that’s the option I’ll go with, but ill definitely reference this in the future. Do recommend one over the others?

    1. Wix is a good option to create a stunning website. I’ve seen that many times in YouTube.
If it’s for a long term website, using WordPress is the best which you can use using the affiliate link above.

Thanks for leaving a comment Will.

  5. Hello once again Win, another great and informative article. I never thought that it would be so simple to build a nice looking website in less than 30 minutes, WA is the best indeed. I have also heard about Wix on YouTube ads, and TV commercials, but I have no need for it. I can’t wait to read more article from you soon!!!

  6. I have been with BlueHost for a couple of months. Nothing to complain. I think one of my websites is still running there because I have paid for a yearly membership. However, I really can’t compare anything with my Wealthy Affiliate experience. It is the only place where I got all in one deal. Informative article, thanks!

    Ivan
